With
eighteen years experience as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and
more than 20 years working with children, I have had the privilege
and opportunity, to work with a wide variety of clients. My specialty
work revolves around four major and overlapping areas:
- Eating
Disorders;
- Depression;
- Relationships
and Children.
The
process approach I use helps people to become, Aware of their Feelings,
Cope with Uncomfortable Emotions - and Develop a Better Self-Concept.
"Weight as a Protector, Self Esteem and the Development of
an "Internal Self monitor" are explored.
Learning to be comfortable with Self and Others are addressed so
that Balanced Relationships can be achieved. People enhance their
lives, as they become more confident and work toward achieving their
goals.
In this affect, I act as a Facilitator, an Interpreter and a support.
I am very familiar with CASTALDIS KILLER BOOT CAMP and its
amazing results. I myself have taken the program, and realized the
need for additional support.
I have included a hand out on the 10 major questions and answers
regarding eating disorders. Please feel free contact to ask me questions
regarding any of these topics. I can be reached at (818) 413-2001.
Sincerely,
Karen Chambre
